            hi comes as a kit with all bolts etc ,the rubber ford one is no longer made and the ones on your car are old and proberly perished ,i wouldnt trust them now with big bhp

                    does this do away with the bearing in the centre of the doughnut?
                    Also the doughnut you are showing is the early 4x4 one with the bearing in the doughnut, the later 4x4 (green top onwards) and all escort cosworths use a different doughnut with the bearing part of the propshaft

                    late 4x4 on the left early on the right



                    the output shafts are also different on them the early has the shorter one and the later longer to reach through to the bearing on the prop

                    late 4x4 and esc cos

                      it does away with it as its not needed same as your rear joint near diff doesn't use one,
                      in a track car or big bhp or road car its has to be better ,i dont think there are many modern road or race cars will run one

                              I got a rubber one off a x5 for the carbon focus worked a treat cost about £70 last time I got Andrew one
