  • BT Conversion

Well I have had my ST Ecos now for about 2 months and im loving it, after getting it I found out it had an issue with idiling, so after spending endless hours of going through various threads and removing so much of the inlet manifold to find everything was ok, it was discovered my ECU is a load NAF.

So after various calls I have booked my car into Harvey Gibbs at SCS in Peterborough for a big turbo conversion and a power upgrade to 330BHP.

With me going to 330BHP and a big turbo I will be going back in to the world of turbo lag, is it possible to get anti lag for a st conversion to bt, and what is required.

What do I have to do as well to my bloody name in red as well.

It doesn't have to be Lagy if you get the right turbo!

My last one made 340bhp with a1 rally sport BT conversion make sure you pick your setup and turbo wisely as I didn't like mine that's why I'm going a totally different route this time.

i guess it depends who you use , i made loads of phone calls and small turbo cars seemed hard, expensive and limited

i have a small turbo escort converted to big turbo spec , t34 turbo , webber managment , 3 bar map , 803 green injectors , group a fuel pump , rs 500 intercooler , just been set up on the rolling road , boost set to hold 1 bar and producing 280 bhp , the guy who set it up said he could get over 300 bhp with more boost but i am happy with that
