  • Best 4x4 engine mounts

    Guys,

Whats the best mounts to use for a 700-800 bhp yb? Car is mostly track usage but will be road legal, was looking at collins titanium jobbies.

    Thanks Robert

wrc stuff maybe your best bet or solid mount direct to chassis rails.

Not an option for chassis mount, as per title?

Never had any problems with the vibra technics/Collins type mounts on either Warren or Wenny's cars

had collins 1's on mine (but mine was 'only' 510bhp) and they were very good but did not want to say good for 700-800bhp

I've got Collins ones. Never had a problem with them.

I bought some Collins billet alloy ones from motorsport developments for about £117 if I remember rightly, very good quality mount, I don't know how they perform as I've not got the engine fitted yet, I'll only be running 400 to 450bhp to start with so they should handle that quite easily... I hope lol

Forgot to add they have been on the car for over 5 years now and a fair few thousand miles.
