  • Front shock top bearing

I've bought some new top bearings for when I reassemble my Konis with the new springs. Do I need to put more grease on them, or do they just go on as they are supplied?
    Cheers

Whacked a bit of grease on them, don't suppose it will hurt. Shocks all build up now with GGR springs on.

I always put a bit of grease on them. As you say it won't hurt.

Nice one Paul, that's what I've done, as you say I don't suppose it will hurt. Have you got that fancy beam on yet?

Not yet mate. Got all the bits now. Starting next week. hopefully won't take too long.

I think I bought your flo flex rear spring mounts off ebay. If you use the same username on there as well.

I'm in a real quandary about that mate, the ones I've got are in good condition but one of the smaller tabs has partly broken away, I bought two sets of Floflex ones (as you do) and sold one set to Paul, so I've still got a set, but they seem very much more flexible than the original rubber ones. I even bought a set of those others that are being sold on E-BAY but they are far too hard. What do you think?
If I could find a really good or new set of the standard ones I'd probably fit those but its like finding the unicorn in your back garden.

Yes, I bought red ones but they're the same brand, they're no good whatsoever to be honest, there's no give in them whatsoever. Well Paul seems to like the Floflex ones.....like you I've heard good and bad but I guess it's a case of what you can get.
