General Question - Has anybody ever changed the name on a LIKES page on Facebook ?

Basically the company i work for I've bought it over and I'm renaming the business but got nearly 3000 likes on our page so would like to just change the name and keep the page

But a quick google search says don't think you an do it if you have over 200 likes has anybody ever done it or know a way around it ?

I think this was inforced so people couldn't start a page along the lines of;
"We love fluffy wuffy pupies" then when you had a load of followers (likes) change the name to "Was Hitler really a bad guy?"

A can see there point then

But hopefully if I contact them they can look in to it and see as I've basically 2 pages now ad just like merged

I know facebooks free but I wouldn't even mind paying if it was an administration fee etc for there time

i know you can login and change your profile/page name...and if you have bought the company you have the rights to it..... but it only lets u do this 3 times max? does this help?

A found more options when you don't use the app and there's and option to change the name but need to send proof like bills etc

So willbet them sent over and hope for the best

You can change your name with ease but you need to do it logged on to a normal PC page, ie not a mobile site.
