  • Finnally my washers are fixed

After not having windscreen washers for a while I finnally had some time to spend trying to sort it.
I'm usually useless at this sort of thing so I'm feeling rather chuffed wif myself atm
Turned out my tank was full of sludge, took the pump off and stuck my finger in to only pull out a load of crap, plugged back in and hey presto

There you go! Told you it might have been gunk in the bottom of the tank. Poor quality screenwash (or even washing up liquid!!) causes it.

Had to fix my one of my horns fella, took it off and took the cover off as the horn part had stuck itself together with lack of use lol, also took the tone screw out and stuck some WD down there and whacked a held it on negative terminal with a piece of bridging wire to the live terminal as so much easier than keep tacking it on and off to see if it was fixed lol

Should of done that when my bumper was off

One thing with my horn, both stopped working at the same time, also when I press the horn my dash lights kinda flicker, could it be the switch in the steering wheel

Would have been best to check when the bumper of, 8mm bolt holds them on and test on the battery, I would say it's the horns Ian as they do tend to give problems, there is a wire that goes into each horn and the horn bolted to the car (8mm) is how it's earthed,
If you had a test light connect it to one of the wires an the other end of the test light to an earth, get someone to press the horn an the test light should light up, easiest way to check the buttons and all the wiring, hoped not to confuse you to muchlol
