machine polishing a plastic lotus advice needed please

hi all, im after abit of buffty advice, i have a friend who needs his car buffing up but its a lotus excell so plastic!...is it the same as polishing up normal metal car pannels? & do i use the same products .. thanks buffty friends

Yes but be careful, keep the surface as wet as possible. Are you using a rotary or DA?

Lotus paint if original would be intermediate same as your escort so the same products would work well don't use anything too harsh. I've done a few lotus's and there a bit tricky as there is not many flat panels

Its a da dodo juice thing, so ill have a play with it & see how it turns out! Fingers crossed it turns out all shiney
