where to insure a van for 2/3 weeks & not using it just to take a plate off?

hi all, after selling my van to a so called mate he decided to trade it in with my numberplate still on it, as i know the dealer he went to he rang me & gave me the log book & put the van in the compound, but as its now changed hands so its not taxed, so ive got to register the v5 in my name & insure it & re tax it to get the bloody plate off, any ideas where i can get cheep van insurance for say 2/3 weeks & not using the van just so i can tax it & get the plate off

yeh ill get the wife to ring tomoz to see if he knows where i could go, its a ballache but my dad brought me the plate for my 40th so i want to keep it

theres abit more to it as he had the hump, he thought i sold him a pup after he ran it dry of diesel after 5 hours & then he had nothing but problems, he then payed some money out on it & after 8 months traded it for a brand new van, my guy at the dealership said theres nothing wrong with the van so its a row over his stupidity causing the problems in the 1st place, i told him i would never genuinly sell anyone i know a dodgy motor as id just trade it, its not worth loosing a friend over it but he has it in his head that id ripped him off , he did tell me he was trading it in but he works away so i couldnt get the plate off before it was traded, nightmare but he,s all good now but i just want the plate

There are a few places online that do temporary short term insurance, and as said perhaps try the usual brokers on here.
