SCS Engine build

Hi Guys, I am starting to plan my escort rebuild. Granted it wont be starting until next year but as it's going to be a lot of money I thought I would start planning and getting prices together so I don't end up selling the house or something. Any way I was wanting to use SCS to build my engine and just wanted to see what everyone thought of them? I have so far only heard good things but really wanted to get some more opinions.

Always take my engines there and spot on every time plus very reasonably priced if you pay cash.

just had my engine built by SCS and they have been brilliant very helpful good prices really friendly and patient with all the daft questions you have through out the build.

Problem is once you've had the engine done your soon back looking for more, im looking for a 6 degree beam next….slippery slope thats for sure!

Haha one lad I used to chat too on here confided in me he was a TV licence inspector..fuck that I had a black and white until they stopped it,now I don't answer the door

I rang them before travelling to view / buy a car as they were listed as the last people to have worked on it.

I was surprised at how helpful they were in that they definitely went the extra mile to go through their records, find out exactly what was done to the car and then they were able to answer a few specific questions regarding it's condition.

I imagine most other people may have given me a more general set of answers or might not have been as keen to help given that I wasn't phoning to arrange any work with them etc.

Definitely impressed me with their customer service attitude in that regard.
