What Gearbox Oil??

Hi all,

Can someone help me out with what gearbox oil I should be using? I've read tons of old archived posts on here and on passionford and everyone seams to have a different opinion on what should be used. I spoke to Opie today who recommended Fuchs Titan ATF 3000. Anyone else using that? Is the gear change ok with it?

its a atf oil that should be on it, so thats should be fine.

I use the Titan ATF oil in mine, only because I got it on a deal with my Titan engine oil. But used it for the last 4 years, keeps it nice and quiet anyway

You guys are right, ATF is the oil that Ford specify but it has been said that normal EP 90's Castrol SRF is much better, especially on tuned cars. The std Ford ATF stuff is borderline even on a standard powered car.

Dave any chance we could have a page for recommended oils etc and change times and the mods keep it clean from rubbish posts.
