Radio and cd play codes

Can anyone give me the codes for this radio and CD player or tell me how to get them please??

try 1275 for the tape player

4075 for the cd.

not 100% that these will work though.

1275 is correct for tape.
I'm having problems getting the CD player

No it's not 4075 for CD player

you could try 9820, that as if it was an 'M' serial number?

All the 4 digit codes I can do are

'A' prefix
'C' prefix
'L' prefix

and 'M' prefix

the cd players have an extra number (0) at the beginning. So just trying combinations.

I had to buy a broken cd player with code and remove the main board and swap it over to keep the keycode

They are none obtainable for the 2040cd, only from Ford and I don't think they keep details from that long ago, it was based on registration mark

Great, I have the reg, it comes up on cassette, would that help if I when to ford?

My CD player comes up like this....... - - - -
I've tried 0128 and 4075 then pressed shuffle and it goes back to asking for a code again.

A bloke round the corner from me re-coded mine for me, cost me £20 but it did the job

CD player was tricky but ford sorted me in the end
