  • Wheel center cap colour match

    Evening all,
Just had my centre caps back for my monte wheels and they seem a little to dark.
This is the second time they have been done now so thinking bugger it fit them anyway?

Will check them in the daylight tomorrow but can't decide if I should have them done a third time!

I was thinking of leaving the ford decal off as not really a fan with the on as the wheel can get abit busy with the oz decals etc

Agree. I left the wheel decals off. But I fitted a decal on the cap.

Mine were painted 'silver' and with a decal on top look fine.

I have the oz decals on the wheels.
Just unsure of the ford ones ( think I may have thrown them away).
Will check colour match in sun light, would rather keep the powder coated caps as guessing they will wear better but if the colour is too far out I guess they will have to be painted.

take it they are metal if there powder coated. Mine were painted not powder coated and the match is good on the caps.

Hi mate yes they are alloy caps.
Did you know the paint code of yours? Maybe worth a go as only cost £40 to have them coated, so not a lot lost.
I think this was the brightest silver they had

Yes was abit expensive but it was from a restoration company down the road so saved me in fuel/ time going into Southampton to a powder coating company
Would it be expensive to get them sprayed?
Guess I could go edd china style and rattle can them

They looked OK fitted, shame I managed to crack the coating on every single one
