fuel gauge

Hi all can you help
I've had the dash out of my escos and now the fuel gauge dose not work i have checked the plugs what else can i check

Sender unit - have you got a feed to the connector with the ignition turned on?

Also could be an earthing issue

Ok is it a live or earth

The fuel pump is working fine
