Signs a gearbox mount is on its way out?

Evening guys.
Put a few miles on the car now and all is good, not really any steering wheel wobble now so tyre flat spots must be sorting themselves out!
Only small issue is the gearstick moving up and down/ bouncing.
Seems to mainly be in 5th gear at cruising speeds.
It's not harsh but you can see it moving up and down and you can't stop it by pushing down on the stick.
Could a worn mount cause this? It does it on all road types it seems.

Its how the std mounts are mate just look under the car make sure theres no oil

Can you usually see the stick continuously going up and down? Always seems to do it worse in 5th gear lowish revs.
Did wonder if the place that changed the clutch years ago and trapped the coolant pipe between the block and bell housing and left it could have bent the main shaft etc or would that not be enough misalignment to do that?

You would have a terrible fibration did we put uprated engine mounts on yours

They will be the standard ones from new I think Dave.
I don't get any vibration etc on the rest of the car it's purely just the gearstick going up and down, will try and get a vid Tuesday

I just made a total restoration on mine & I put Vibra Technics mounts (engine & gearbox). I do have a vibration on 5th gear between 100 & 120 Km where it stops & after 180Km, so definitely its from the mount! By the way, I also put a group A differential mount which made it harder & probably created extra vibration! I am thinking of coming back to the standards but now I have another problem because they don't exist!

Yes not sure I'd want aftermarket mounts as heard they are abit harsh myne is about 50mph in 5th it happens.
May have to tap you up for a gearbox mount Dave , are they easy to change?
