I'd certainly prefer it as a 2 door, but it's not, so have to take what there is. On the other hand, it's not plastered in gaudy boy-racer stuff that previous RS Focus models sometimes had.

my Escort is [solid] black, and my Focus is Shadow Black (which is supposed to be a mica paint, but only has minuscule blue specks visible if spotless in direct sunlight at the right time of day if you squint at the right angle.)

I had a red RS Turbo too once (new on 1/1/89) but I did a lot of miles in those days. Was going to PX at Frews in Perth against my Sapphire Cosworth 4x4 in '91, but when I was in the showroom arranging the deal, a couple of youngish lads came in and offered me cash for it, which was duly a done deal. F44 GSS it was, but there are no details for it on the DVLA site, so I guess it died an early death....

I know what you mean but if I'm honest I'll always turn my head to look at that gaudy boy racer my 2 than the boring looking mk3, I always think they're an ST!
