I have a feeling that mine is dodgy earth related, tank will be dropped soon anyway!

Out of curiosity anyone know how much damage ford will charge for a new sender?

Still get them new but they are ££££.
Have you tried cleaning the contacts etc on yours?

started a topic fuel gauge fault

    fuel gauge fault

my fuel gauge is really annoyting me, i can fill up and once i get to half a tank the needle just drops right off the bottom of the gauge.
i understand this is a common fault, has anyone come up with a solution?
i have read that the track breaks down within the sender itself? anyone tried to repair or remake a pcb track?
Working...
