    as above was just doing abit of thinking today bout few ideas ,but 1 question that sticks in my mind is,i know if u powdercoat sumtin its gona last for along time,but was wondering wats the story with zinc coating parts like bolts and so on ,will they rust again and if so in how long,tanx jay

    it all depends on how you use the car and what weather and if you clean the car right but if you look after it it should last years, the main problem is chips and powder coat chips well and is hard to touch up unlike paint

      hi

      i did all the bolts on the bottom of my green car and it lasted 2 years after i did it but the car never was out much in the raine and never out in salt roads, have to agree with duncan if powder coat chips its hard to touch in again , better of just getting it painted gloss black . then if need be you can touch it in , just make sure its well blasted before its painted.
