The Mountune has individual throttles per cylinder for response, the MIS retains a single one (unless you do what Martin did for his), so might not be what your mate is looking for.

I might know where there is an 8-injector one for sale, but it will be £2.5k?

You could use other setups too.

Again, the above is about improved flow for high power engines, not throttle response .
