we did manage to put the trees up with the kids over the weekend though

We won't have a tree again this year, because doggie has a very swishy tail and tends to knock things over with it.

The problem is, the weather's miserable, it's not fine and cold, it's freezing and always peeing it down and dark, and I don't know about anyone else but I'm working nearly all the way up to Christmas, and we've not even got any decorations up at work because certain people have had a fun bypass. It just seems to be a work til you drop mentality in this country now. Where's the joy?

If Gordy Brown thinks I'm working til I'm 75 he can stick it up his harris.

I did have some mince pies for tea tonight though.

im not just working up until Christmas, but straight thru it and into the new year aswell

our place becomes hectic as hell during the 8 days of xmas and new year, ideal time for big projects to be commisioned into working, you either say your not working and have a nice xmas or you look at the package including the bonus's they are offering and grab a nice amount of money and put the time/money to use in a different way.

if i had children then i would view it completely different im sure, but as the other half is working xmas day and boxing day aswell, id be daft to not grab the money the company are offering.

Its not just the kids mate, I was getting nagged by Lou to get them all down out of the loft. Personally if I lived on my own again I wouldn't bother but that's the scrooge in me

Our Christmas tree is up, although I don't feel in the Christmas mood that much. The shopping part is way too hectic and the weather isn't cold enough.
Only two more weeks to work and then I'm free to relax until the new year. Lovely!

Oh - like the snow by the way, too.

I'm trying NOT to get into the Xmas mood yet Trev, otherwise nothing gets bloody done and everyone minces (sorry no pun ) around waiting for the holiday!!

Bloody Xmas songs and adverts on the radio since the end of Sept are what REALLY piss me off!
