Outside air temp issue

Evening all, for some reason my outside air temp sensor has started playing up. It started when I pushed the temperature button on the display and it seemed to show the correct outside temperature but then started to drop temperature at about a degree a second until it got to -34 which also brought the relevant green and red light on next to it. Is this likely to be the sensor or the screen that’s the issue?

Mine did that years back, sensor wasn't earthed properly.

Thanks for the replies.... how does it earth Simon, is it through the metal clip it’s mounted with?
