    Do you need to fit these ? as mine are a bit crappy and if you dont need them then i wont and will just fit normal washer or dave can you help

            sorry one to many N's in it i mean banana the ones that are on the rear drive shafts and you have 3 on each uj joint and they have 2 bolts in them and conect the uj's to the hubs and the gear box, you know what i mean i just didnt say very well the first time anyway mine are shit and i want either new or if i dont need them i will get rid

                Yes thats them Ben, i take a view that on cars like these that some things were put there for a reason so dont remove them, just my view but up to you Dunc.

                  Mart, whilst I share the same view, I can't see what they really do over what an ordinary washer would do
                  if a bolt falls out then that washer will still be held in place by the other bolt, where as if you used a normal washer it would fall out with the bolt and the other bolt still holding the shaft in place

                  just my simple view on it so probably wrong

                      yes yo do need them as it spreads an equal clamping force unlike a normal washer i think, dave made mine aswell

                          Also the bolts will go in to far and possibly hit the diff out the other end? They are about 5mm thick and the bolts stick out with the washer on iirc.

                              IIRC they where something like £2.60 each!

                              Although thinking about it mine where the bigger 2wd ones which where different size, possibly the smaller 4wd ones are cheaper?
