you know as well as anyone else that Doug also owns an escort cossie, just as Dave and Helen still own a Saph, so there is hardly any 'slagging off of the cossie'

Dan is a long time cossie owner, and he may well be again in the future, but he has many great friends from within the scene, so you cant just ask him to 'bugger off' now that he has sold the car.

phill i am an evo owner and love it to bits, but i also am a escort cossie owner as well,
i will always have a soft spot for escort cossies as i have loved them from when i was a school boy, i have owned 3 escorts now and might i add 3 of the best, but how ever i have to addmit the evo 9 gt i baught before xmass is a lot nicer of a car to drive than any of my escort road cars, other people might not agree with me but thats my thoughts , i love to come on to this site and share my cars with yous all ,as i think we are all frends in the car world...

i have a evo 9 gt in white running autronic sm4 mapped by ai autosport in northern ireland ( that are good frends with mr sheed) runnig 451/400 and i love it.

But my passion is with Cosworths as everyone can see

My SL55 is a far better car than the cossies but then it should be at over 100k newof course the Ferrari, XJR/XKR etc etc etc are better including my 916 BUT its not always about better.........

Incidentally it was no gripe with you Doug i was merely saying people that bail out and still use the site even though they are no longer interested in the Cosworth.

Evo Karl here,i have had Evo's for many years and remember when people used to jump up and down and point and lick the windows of my E6.
Evo's are great cars but have lost their exclusiveness,i remember when you couldn't get a UK Evo,now they are all over the place.

i prefer a though,mines probably the rarest in the UK so thats me with my own little niche.

karl,that is exactly what puts me off of the evo's.the same as porker 996's they are a victim of their own success! i love the evo 6 but they have been turned into the scooby since the 7 8 9 have all came in force
