Had some repait the upper spoiler strut where it bolt on the boot? At mine there is crack because one Idiot use alloey too have a metal thing inside for the screw....

the standard metal plate in the spoiler is poor quality monkey metal and corrodes and expands and can then split the bottom leg around the base,not the easiest job to repair but im sure some sort of threaded insert could be bonded inside the leg with a bit of working out -
Repaired a good few of these as a common problem

Today I take a dremel and take all the broken things away. Tomorrow a friend came araund and we brainstorm the problen. To repair is a bit work bur there are also some paint and rust problem in the trunk cover... :-( 20years old and problems i think i ask Ford what this schould bee :-P

Work Done Spoiler is repaired
Now nees a paint guy who can paint it in the same color :-(
