  • T5 gearkit

Thinking of rebuilding one of my t5 boxes. What is the kit to get, i need IT to be as complete as possible, since the box is worn, so need to change most of the "service" internals. Need to be stronger kit that handle abuse and high rpm and quick shifting... Have been searhcing around, but seems like allot of difrent experiance with kits...

I looked into this but the cost of a big tooth kit and fitting wasn't far away from the price of a tremec tko, so ended up going down this route.

Some of the heavy hitters in the US include:
        American Powertrain americanpowertrain.com
        G-Force Transmissions gforcetransmissions.com or from Jegs http://www.jegs.com/p/G-Force-Transm...43713/10002/-1

I would think that it's only a question of gear ratios and spline count on the input and output shafts.

There are some posts on Passionford about using the Mustang input shaft, but having to turn down the end to fit in the pilot bearing.
