Won't start small turbo escos

Thought the battery was gone as all the lights come on, fuel pump makes its noise then turn the key and just a loud click.

Replaced the battery and new batteries in the alarm fob, alarm functions turns on and off but I notice the red light in the clock module no longer flashes?? Is this the standard immobiliser and has that gone faulty and causing my issues?

Does anyone know how I can check it please ?

Hi Mate, try locking and unlocking the doors, with the key before trying.

gave it a good whack or two with a hammer but it is a possibility

Try rocking it ( forwards and backwards ) in gear

Get somebody to turn the key while you listen to see if it's the solenoid on the starter clicking if it is then try bump starting it.
