What colour is your escos Chris? mine is mallard and in the sig the 9,s are photoshopped on so they look a little bigger than 18,s Plus i have 235/40 x 18 to go on mine.

The 235/40s will be better, as the 245/40s are likely to catch on the back of the arch liners in slow speed, full lock maneouvres (as even my 35s occasionally catch).

Why would you want to run R888s ?

Im racing the car at knockhill and running slicks is a hit or a miss unless u hav enough money to carry the correct compound of tyres for the track conditions & weather. If i run R888's or the Dunlop dirzzea DZ03's then im getting best of both worlds.

                Chris, go for Gold

                mine are 245/40/18 R888's. 9x18's et20.

Extremely snug on the rear arches, to the point that it's hard to get wheel straps over the tyres to pin it down on the trailer.
As for fronts, again they are snug but I have no issues with the arch liners but they are very very close to the base of the coilover strut, maybe a couple of mm at best.

What suspension are you running on?

I'd go for the Dunlops, the R888s have only a 3-4 lap operating window before they get too hot and make the car "loose".

I know we have had this conversation before .

Have you used your car with the engine in then (pushing it around the yard making brrrrrm, brrrrm noises doesn't count )?

I even thought mine would .

By finished, I think we should stipulate "used in anger on track", not poncing around attempting to impress school girls .
