I am afraid that the sensor on the picture doesn't look like the original one, and the given length is incorrect too.

we're testing the sensors that I've arranged to be made, rears have been tested and we'll know the results of the fronts in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping by the end of Feb I'll be able to get a date as to when the first batch will be made

I bought a couple of these:

            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3608312050...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

As I believe these are the same on a Scorpio 4x4 as Escort/Sierra. Not put the car back together yet though so can't guarantee it's correct.
SS20154 DELPHI ABS SPEED SENSOR. This part matches Original Equipment (OE) quality specifications ISO 9001 which means that it is at least as good if not better than the original part the manufacturer supplied the car with. | eBay!

Dont be fooled by the ISO statement as that is not what ISO 9001 means!

Yes Darren rears have passed in every way and are currently fitted to a car. The fronts did appear to work, but we were chasing another ABS fault so have not completed testing of those, the only minor issue is that the part that goes into the hub is a couple of mm to long and it needs a washer to sit it up a little. I will be looking for this to be fixed prior to Production

Another great effort Ben. Alongside the wheels and sorting these sensors what else do we need you to remake lol
