Hi Guys, I havent been on here for many years or had my car out for many too, But since i am blowing the cobwebs off her giving her a make over I feel so out of the scene with regards to mods for power, its last rebuild was over 16 years ago by field motor sport:

    Y/B 200 Block,
    compression ratio 7.5.1
    fully balanced crankshaft assembly
    Group A conrods
    0.5 oversized Mahle pistons
    WRC head gasket
    wrc stud head/block conversion
    Group A ported cylinder head
    iskey competition valve springs
    FM17 inlet camshaft
    BD8 exhaust camshaft
    T34
    P8 management with ALS board

    Last dyno was 422bhp @6000, 411ft.lbs torque 4,500rpm

Im not saying this is slow or anything but is there anything better, easier, stronger 16 years later ? any advice is appreciated

Hi, it all comes down to money at the end of the day as yes there is options to make the engine stronger and give more power. There is also alloy blocks available now.

Yes "always" potential for more, but if its Worth IT if not going for mega power with everything around the engine too is another question...

Your setup is out from what i would say, a strong relaible setup, so would keep IT if you are happy with IT. If not guess a New turbosetup, and another dynomap to fit, is next step, since engine itself sounds to be well buildt to handle more.
