General Question - Cooling Fans

Hi guys, will the cooling fans only kick in if the engine temperature gets above a certain temp? I don't really drive the car that hard, but went I got back from a casual drive yesterday the fans didn't kick in when I got back home. Cheers

Yes fans only kick in when high enough temp in radiator is reached. So if not high on gauge either, dont worry
