  • Speed sensor

    Guys,

As i'm running an after market dash display (AIM) I need to mount the speed sensor, any one done this and what's best way to mount one on an Escos, im using bells/brackets

Also as I wont be attaching the oe speedo cable is the drive part on sump ok just left without anything fitted? no oil will leak?

    Cheers Rob

mount it on the hub or brake bracket to pick up the signal from the inside of the bell, so it takes it signal from the bolts that secure the bell to the disc.

That's how mine is too, cheap n' cheerful. Be careful not to get it too close where it'll clip the sensor, not cheap

You be able to set it with 2mm clearance and it should pick up off the bolts.
