  • After market water temp sender location

Has anyone fitted an after market water temp gauge, where did you install your sensor? Im thinking a tee piece in the hose that goes from thermostat housing to the bottom of the rad. Also whats the normal running temps for a big turbo escos with an rs500 style intercooler fitted?

What's wrong with original temp gauge? ive a AIM MXL in my escos which will pickup water temp from ECU

One thing I hate is a clutter of external gauges within the car

My gauge is sitting a little high, i just want to make sure its running at the correct temps.

just change the factory sensor for a new one, they all seem to have a slight difference anyway, the standard one is a guide not an exact science

"Correct" temp you only get at oe position. 2wd had IT in front on head, but was moved back beside ecu tempsensor for more correct readings
