Wheel alligment

Anyone have alligment for 2wd track car? Adjustable compstruts and tca. I have for 4x4 here, but not 2wd...

No 2 cars run exactly the same alignment, its a very personal thing and can be changed to suit how a car and driver work together.

Everyone will quote the Boreham settings, but they are just rough.

On my last event the car wanted to oversteer very easily, the fix was more rear toe, more than most would consider.

How far out from std are you now?

Yes i know. I have the boreham setup for grpa suspendion, but right now i am on normal 2wd rear setup, saph 2wd front, with compstruts and adjustable tca. Bilstein grpa coilovers and very low now... Car is mostly on road, but whant IT to performance and grip as much as possible, and also its not a car that is out of garage much...

I have my 6 degree beam and front adjustable comp struts and TCA's on coilovers set as following. Nice on road and track, good overall compromise and balance on 225/40/18 Michelin tyres.

Front - Camber: 1.5° neg, Toe in: 2mm total, Caster: 3°30

Rear - Camber: 1.5 neg, Toe in: 3mm total.

Front:
Camber: 1.5° negative
Toe-in: 2mm overall
Caster: 3°30

Rear:
Camber: As front
Toe-in: 3mm overall.

Yeah, they're basically Mike Rainbird's findings from years ago. I tried a couple of other settings but this was the best all rounder, especially to sustain tyre life/wear too!

You're right, drives better than a Saph.

Once you start to push on i found needed nearer 2.5 to 3.0 deg front camber.
