does anyone know what this is for and what should go on the ends I'm taking its something to do with the fuel neck

Think it's the fuel vapour valve

Do you know where 35 goes to there is a pipe on the tank but not sure if it's got trapped and sure be on the valve

That pipe connects to the top with a little flexi pipe, then the bottom connects to the filler neck, exactly the same set up as a normal mk5 escort
