spent the weekend in london town

me and the wife were given 2 tickets for dirty dancin at christmas so we thought we would posh it up in london for the weekend .
Gave the kids to her sister for the weekend , booked a top hotel and borrowed a porschce from a customer. Didnt want to have the cossie thrashed by the hotel staff or scratched , and i didnt think the A6 was the right choice , so borrowed a 2004 911 carerra 4s .
The show was suprising good with lots of half nekid women on the stage . The set and stage was really clever with lots of moving parts popping up everywhere . We then had a walk round covent garden then back to the hotel for the night . Sunday we did the tourist attractions . walked from Buckingham palace to tower bridge . Had a top weekend just the 2 of us




Now... porsche's aint really my thing , but after driving for the weekend it was soo comfortable and easy to drive . Didnt have my cossie's performance but still plenty quick enough ! i even liked the noise from the tuned zorst system . AND it gave me 32mpg !!
hmmm . makes me wonder about about keeping the cossie ! I work on a fair few 911's and basically all they need is servicing and clutch changes from poor drivers . But they aint as iconic as the cossie ! And i have always wanted a cossie since 1992 !
Why does the grass always look greener on the other side ? lol

i reckon if you go trademark kwaka purple with your garage logo in big letters plastered over it could be good for buisness

Car is Red at the mo . Will get some pics up this week if i get a chance to get the camera out at work . Was gonna go white and blue with it once it needed some paint (my company colours) . But i was thinking my kwaka purple as well . I still love it in the flesh

You walked from Buck house to Tower bridge ? thats quite a way ,for an old git like me it is anyway and you managed it without getting mugged,run over or arrested

yeah , we though it would be nice to start at the palace then follow the thames to the tower of london . There was a big crowd at the palace with a band marching around The Mall . Dunno what that was about . Spent 5 hrs waliking around , what with stopping and looking at the sights . We have never really done the london tourist thing . it was fun
