You dont need to be club members to book as a visiting car club, there's a few clubs in already.

We won't get a visiting club stand as long as night follows day, when I was registrar and allowed to see what went on behind closed doors it was proposed then and several registrars/committe members commented the escort cos guys and S1 guys should not be invited as a visiting car club as we have taken members away from the club. Talk about backward short sighted fuckwits, 90% of the guys on here are RSOC members anyway and I'm sure there's a lot of the guys on the S1 site that are too.

It's a shame this is, the committee are clearly missing the point that there are now a number of RS model owners that have been alienated so that they use other resource forums like this one.

In this age clubs like this need to co-exist in the same space, them being blinkered to that is silly.

The issue is that if the RSOC didn't exist, then there wouldn't be the little local group shows.

Yeah that's true, not sure about round by you but there are tons of small "transport" shows now within 60 miles of us, I've come to prefer those now as there is much more variety

I also find that you don't get the small number of anal type telling you that your hockey sticks are too gloss or that your Escort badge is 2mm too close to the left edge of the boot lid.

I'm not saying every RSOC member is anal either, but you all know the type of member I mean.
