  • 2wd flywheel in a 4x4 set up?

As title, I'm building a new race car for myself and converting my old one for my son to race using all my old stuff, I've got a few 2wd flywheels here and I'm not sure if one will fit in a 4x4 set up ie 4x4 starter/gearbox, I know there lighter than the 4x4 flywheel and the crank bolt pattern is obviously the same but that's it, anyone know if they fit?

Straight fit yes. 2wd is lighter. If have them side by side, you see all the extra "meat" is in backside, rest is identical

2wd is approx 7kg, saph 4x4 is approx 11kg and Escort is aprox 9
