So the car isn't a genuine numbered Evo and is a bitsa car?????

The 80 was Thor holm "street" rs200, and been buildt up to Evo/rallyx after. 2.4 is a godfrey buildt evo engine..

Not sure now, but think maybe IT was Thor holms rallyx car/shell that was for sale here in Norway not long time ago... (The "mysterios" 76...)

Apparently it was an incomplete car when sold to Thor in 1988

Possible, the history is abit "unknown" and Thor himself passed away many years ago...he had atleast them 2 rs200... The 76 is Said to been bought the written if tube and parts, from Ford to be buildt up as rallyx. One extra tube/car that was sold to UK with parts from 76 (this was where all hell broke lose since that tube was later "regged" as number 76...and attemped sold as IT and with history of that one. but out of info from them here in Norway that knew car and history, the tube/shell here still have all papers and vin number and plates...)

Martin's rs200 e was bought by ford Norway and he put the bigger intended bdt motor in it which was closer to 2.4.
Ken could do a hundred videos and get the fluffer to badly explain stuff but there's guys who know exactly what went on when they raced them to win back in the day it's just knowing who they were to ask

Martins was Evo number 1 too. IT was sold to private collector many years ago, and he didnt whant IT to be public knowleg Who he is... So its not sure were IT is today. But thats a historic car, with allot of tweaks improvred by Martin, that became "stock" on other rallyx/rally rs200 cars...

Some confusion on Martin's car, it was originally to have chassis number 201 (first prototype of the Evo's), but this never happened and is car number 012 apparently, further confusion with some info about #012 being burnt out during testing for the Greek rally 1986, but this doesn't tally with the Ford paperwork, sold to a collector in Switzerland in 2004

Yes evos was supose to be 201 and up, but since Ford still had several "Street" cars, they used them to build evos insted. 200+ cars Are unoficial builds, private buildt from New spares from Ford.

Its been Said that when fia came to count that they had made 200 to meet regulation, they had them in several seperate storages, and employes drove cars from one place to the other, so same cars was counted as another car several times, since they never finished enough cars

Ken's is indeed car 080... He initially had bought 174 which was Trevor Hopkin's rallyX car to restore but instead he sold it to Terry Maynard who is undergoing restoration at the moment. He then got 080 to do take to the US... 080 was already fitted with the 2.4 engine but was never really rallycrossed. It's not a bitsa but a genuine car with many Rallycross parts, also not an genuine Evo like mentioned above.

Sure they do exist, but also If realistic, many sold as "originals" only have number from a real one, but made of parts. Offcourse some is out there, "many" have been rebuild to high standar already. Its a man here that had a few, sold one restored out of Norway not long ago. He had more original cars+ he had buildt some himself since he was not happy with the original finish of the original rs200
