  • Cosworth Thermostat?

Is there possible to buy a 4wd thermostat lower than 82 degree?
I did buy a new 82 degree one from burton but now when we mapping the engine it runs little bit hot, it stay around 92 degrees.

Even if termostat open at 82 IT wont run on 82... 92 is not bad...

92 is ok? Seen lots like that, fluid is circulating.

Fans normally kick in around 100deg anyway, so 92 is optimum.

The question was if someone is selling thermostat with lower value then 82 degree?
Or if it's possible to fit one from another engine with lower degree?

Honestly havent seen one under 82, but you can drill a couple of small holes, so IT circulates trough radiator before... Bit still cant see wjhy need a "colder" thermostat....

Maybe look for a fanswitch that kick fans in earlyer insted?
