    MT75 straight cut gears.

does anyone know the going rate roughly to install 2nd, 3rd and 4th straight cut gears into a good working box?

mones coming out in the next month or so and isn't going back in until it's sorted

PDE box is straight cut in 2nd and 3rd, don’t think it needed in 4th as that’s direct so strong.
To have the the gears fitted to a supplied box is £1800 inc labour and vat from Pete, takes about a week to do

You can also spec an uprated input shaft I think but was told the uprated input shaft makes all the gears noisy apart from 4th.

thanks for the reply, Thats not bad at all, I'd be happy with that.

when I was asking around at car shows the figure £3000 popped up.

id go for Petes box if they're stil available, failing that I can see myself dropping it off at bara

I emailed him regarding the above a couple of weeks ago so deffo still does them for £1800 all in.
It is a great price if the power is around 400hp as seems 2nd and 3rd are the two weak gears.

              Perfect!

id be happy with the pde box, I think I'll get it out sooner rather than later.

Theres a lad local to me got this box in his 550bhp Escos and he's happy with it.

it is noisey but that's what I'm after

What did you have in mind?

My box is still in the car and it's in the carcoon until the better weather comes.

these prices put me off at the time as I'd already laid out a load on other things.

£1800 all in I'm very interested

I’m waiting to see if I can buy another box at the moment, if I can’t then I will get the PDE one, will be sorting it in April I think.
i would need to get my box removed and put on a pallet etc.

Yeah, good idea. I'll keep an eye out for one but in all fairness I'm happy to get mine done as it's low miles.

ill be doing mine around April also

You need to ship your own original kit to them, so they use that to make New kit. I asked them for a kit, so got to know then...
