ADAC 24hr Nurburgring (*Pics)
Sorry for the late one, but finally got some time to upload some pics.
So I flew off to stay with some friends at RT Motorsport in Nurburg to watch the 24hr racing at the Ring. What an amazing experience...you can keep your F1, this was something else! Plus the added bonus that all teams allowed spectators to slum it in the pit garages to watch them at work
We were supporting a friend who drives for one of the KTM X-Bow teams as well as the Black Falcon AMG team, who were very much in lead throughout the race. Unfortunately, the rain came early hours of the night and the race was stopped for a few hours. On restart, the leading AMG screwed up in a corner and the rival Porsche team nudged ahead and won. All highlights can be seen on Youtube, including the costly crashes
Got some decent karting in just outside of Nurburg, plenty of food and beer too. The camping all around the track reminds me of Gatebil, with plenty of sofa's, telly's, full size shop type fridges stocked with beer and satellite dishes tied to trees all over They know how to do it right, but I'll let the pics and videos do the talking...
