    This is something i dont understand... Not sure if it original or do e later, but its from a very early 3door i think, and cant understand ehy its done like this...

    That’s weird, didn’t know about this. Unless the cover came off a car where the engine is close the wiper motor, like a focus cosworth for example. So the lead needs to sit lower.

      IT dont sit any lower, its just a washer that looks like IT maybe squice just allitle more on lead, but minimal... Dont understand why this is like this... Have been told that similar had been done on some bd engines, but havent seen one myself...

            It would sit lower by a few mm if the lead is cut going over the spark plug. But again, no idea why really

              But with the washer, IT sits just as high as a "normal" cover... The washer was "glued" on
