  • creeking noise from drivers front , help needed ordering part

    got a creeking noise coming from the drivers front when turing coming from drivers side of the escos .... started when i hit a rat (or a kitten with a long tail it was dark, but my mate was sure it was a rat )on the back roads

    i opened the bonnet and pushd down on suspension turret part and nothing , but get it at slow speeds when turning the wheel

    sounds like a creeking flootboards any help?

    The metal cup at the top of the suspension is probably broken, very common problem

                        I replaced these cups a long time ago when I had a knocking noise on the front. Sent front coilovers off for refurb as we thought these were the problem. Turns out the pinch bolt to ball joint bolt was loose and letting the ball joint rattle.

                          need a little help ordering the part from ford , the guy behind counter not help full about as much use as a choclate fire gaurd , anyways he did print me out the brakdown of the suspension part for ordering parts can any one tell me what number this is , i think its item number 8 ?
