        thats right as chopper said in germany, and i may be wrong but northampton england had a factory built cosworth engines and also some in america.. . sure others will correct me if i am wrong on the later.

          As above...believe the cars were built in Karmann Germany, and Cosworth are based in Northampton UK.

          Also, am I right in thinking that the only "Cosworth" part of the engine is the cylinder head? The bottom end was all original Ford? Not 100% sure on that...

              I think they were built in two or three different factories in germany. By Karmann as stated above. I believe mine was built in Genk.

                      Genk is in Belgium mate

                              The shell is more rigid than the sierra torsionally i.e has extra points welded to the struts etc which reduces the body flex.
