  • Rear Adjustable Axle - OMS Products

    Hello everybody,
Does anyone knows or have bought products from this guy OMS Products? He is based in North Ireland.
You can check here: OMS Products | Facebook
I want to buy the rear 6 degree axle fully camber and toe adjustable (attached photo)
By the way has anybody fitted such an axle? Any comments?

    Thanks,

Looks cool, but why don't you go for a tried and tested piece of kit from MK Motorsport, SCS or MT Motorsport? But they're pretty much all a variation of a theme and are far better than a standard beam setup.

Yes I have seen them too. This one looks more reinforced on some points. I think will help a lot on the set up of the car!

Fair enough, but that extra bracing isn’t needed and just adds weight. But it’ll do the job intended

Have you seen much difference on the car handling?

I have had them modify my beam . Very good to deal with, regular communication and quick turn around. No vat to pay !
haven’t unwrapped it yet to be fair!

TBH, I've only done 60 miles on it so far after it was all set up, not driven it hard yet, but car did feel good on the road, but i need more time in the car to give a informed answer, but other guys on here recon its the best mod you can do, better traction, better handling plus it can be set to your driving style/use road/race etc.

Good timing this post. Ive got to decide whether to media blast my standard and paint or go for a 6deg beam.
How much is the average price for one?

6 degree beams make a Cossie what they should be, aids in traction and makes oversteer recovery far more controllable.

Mine , from memory was considerably cheaper than that. I did request it back bare steel. I will paint in black epoxy

So so tempted. But justifying even more money on a car I dont drive. I know it makes sense drive wise. Ive spent the best part of 30k on this car doing power mods and its done 4k ota miles in the last 5 years.
My rear beam and arms are just pure coated in rust so they need completely striping and painting v a nice 6 deg beam ready to go.
Interested to see others posts to this thread.
Oh and of course getting it past Her In Doors.

Well Richard the guy on OMS Products offers the complete kit (rear beam, arms etc. everything included) at 980 £ which is a fair price! I think its worth investing on the car.
