Carpet mat sets

Hi, I'm new to the forum and had been searching for a genuine ford mat set for a while, But in the past few weeks I noticed there have been a lot of genuine ford NOS escort cosworth mat sets suddenly appearing on Ebay UK, I even bid on two sets, but was outbid at the last few moments, Glad I was, because they sold for 155 and 255 pounds.( these are not the only ones that have gone for high prices)
I felt gutted I missed out on NOS mat sets, Then searched Ebay again, sure enough more NOS mat sets appearing!
I studied the pics of the mat sets and there was the part number sticker visable and manufacturing date was 2021 !!!! so no way are they NOS !!!
The part number was 5027658, search that number in Ebay and it gives you brand new genuine ford sierra mat set for 30 quid and free shipping.
I presume people have been buying these off Ebay then relisting them as NOS for a very good profit !!!

I've ordered a couple of the 30 quid sets now, waiting for them to be delivered.

I never had the proper ford mat set in my Escort, so don't know what shape they should be, but looking at the aftermarket mat suppliers on the net, their shape diagrams look exactly like the 30 quid Ford sierra ones.

So buyer beware and grab a bargain on Ebay if you need a new ford carpet mat set for your Escort.
