  • Link ecu and aircon !

Hey guys has anyone upgraded their ecu to a link with aircon fitted ?

im over in Australia and has a link conversion done but had heater box removed while Installing , now I'm putting everything back as it should will it all work together ? Or is it the case based off what was removed controlled the fans/aircon and I'll have to have these controlled by the new ecu?

not much help over here Cosworth related any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    No.

Fans were not controlled by the OEM ecu, no need for the Link to control them.

OEM has a/c input for idle load and a/c output for WOT switch off. Best if these are hooked up to the link.
    Cheers

as jsa said, fans are switched from the ac button and the relais behind the battery.
idle up and full throttle cut(with some seconds time out for switching back) off should be made with the aftermarket ecu. with the haltech ecu that wasn´t a problem. i have also switched the rad fans with the haltech over the relais stage 1 and 2 cause 95 and 100 °C seems a little bit high for me from the oem fan switch.
