Why 2Mb

I cant attach a picture of my Pc Norton blocking our site url.........because the picture is greater than 2Mb. What good is that even my 3 year fSamsung creates standard pictures much larger than that. This site is a bit of a mess. Emocons don't work either. Also get error messages after making a post.
I can see why many have moved to FB but I want to use this forum (headbang).

I use a pic rezicer , the problem is storage, since if everybody post 5-10mb pics, the server needed gets extremly costly

Take a screenshot of the picture and upload the screenshot. It will be a much lower resolution / quality image but the file size is smaller also.

If on PC open the image on your screen, press print screen ("prt sc") on keyboard, open paint and paste the screen shot, crop down to the picture only and save.
