  • Turbo issues

My T25 seems to drop off or stall!? when pushing the car at higher speeds.
Coil packs have been swapped to genuine Bosch and new leads.
The turbo boost seems to surge, boost drops then picks up again if that makes sense!.

Going to send the injectors away for cleaning but don't think it's those.
    Could it be the actuator?

    Maybe the Lectron valve??

Could be the actuator or the lectron if there is an issue.

Could be the normal overboost function. You get extra boost for a short period then boost drops to the continuous boost level.

Have you had any work done to the actuator?
It does sound like as alreay mention the lektron valve , or actuator .
The boost is controlled by a combination of the spring pressure in the actuator trying to keep the waste gate shut increasing boost and boost pressure controlled by the lektron valve pressing on the actuator trying to open the wastgate and reduce the boost. A small split in the hose from the lektron to the wastegate would show as an initial spike in boost , so long as the split is small enough to alow some pressure to the actuator the boost will drop back a bit as it rises at the actuator.
