any ideas how to remove breather tube?

do breather pipes just push in tightly i am trying to remove mine from rocker cover as im fitting new cover on and need to insert the metal breather pipe for the breather system tank i tried turning it with molgrips but not budging its a smooth all other tube so not got spanner socket peice to undo? any ideas its p*ssin me off now need to get rocker cover back on

cheers mate, how do you think is the best way to get it out as i need to fit it to my other rocker cover?

most breathers that have been fitted into the top of the cam cover are tapered so it has been pressed in from underneath and the furter it goes up the ighter it goes

depending on if they have used a locltite aswell it could be a bitch to get out

do you think i should put a nut and bolt thru and tighten the bolt with nut on bottom so its tight against the adapter and get socket on it to loosen up ?

sorted lads done it now f##k was that a tight one took the p#ss just got to drill the new 1 then fit it in and put back on the car
