A few snaps from yesterday........ didn't take many so have nicked some other peoples albums
Had a good Convoy down from Guildford with about 40/50 other cars, was quite surprised when i arrived at the meet point to see another Red Escort Cosworth there for the convoy...... apparently quite a few people said hello to him thinking it was me lol...... he must have been quite bemused by it all

Unfortunately the day didn't get off to a good start for a young fella i know who has only just got his nearly new MK2 RS Focus......... he arrived at the meet point a little too enthusiatically for the wet conditions and completely missed a turn..... went up a kerb on to the green in front of the Cathedral followed by some off roading before parking up and finding he'd split open his sump and created an oil slick The perils of powerful wrong wheel drive cars and young inexperienced men

Anyway, the Goodwood meet was packed

The Escos everybody mistook for me........









Given what happened in the morning this conversion could be a recipe for disaster






Had a bit of a chat with this fella Les Beering about his 550bhp RS 500 with Mountune engine......... up for sale if anyone fancies it

Done it again haven't i not let you know it's nothing personal honest

This is a monthly thing so there will be others........ though next months theme is 'Everything but the Car' so will be lots of buses and tractors maybe Though may still go for the hell of it if the weather is right

Remember seeing Les @ a Brooklyn RS open day back in the mid 90s and he had those wheels then

Yeah, Les was telling me he'd had the car for some 20 odd years

Only knew his name was Les as he had his Mag feature open on the passenger seat

He said he fancied a few creature comforts in his old age so was thinking about the new RS Focus
